Margaux Demangeot loves to make the most of her time. There's no question of her not living the moment to the full. \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>My friends often ask me why I'm constantly on the move, and I tell them it's in my nature.\u00a0<\/span><\/i>! \u00bb It was this very nature that first prompted her to go into exile in Australia after completing her management studies, before taking on the role of business development manager for a hotel residence in the Vend\u00e9e region. \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>I did a lot of things there, from welcoming people to managing seminars and supervising the upkeep of the 17 villas. It was a great learning experience.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0\u00bbAfter eighteen months of rich experience, the native of La Rochelle became a volunteer at a surf camp in Morocco for an indefinite period, while applying for jobs in the hotel sector.\u00ab\u00a0<\/span>everywhere except La Rochelle\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00bbTo get out of your comfort zone.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet... Responding to a recruitment advert for a receptionist, Margaux has to get off her surfboard earlier than she had planned to join the\u00a0<\/span>Masq Hotel<\/span><\/a>. \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>The job interview<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span>has enabled me to discover the human scale and CSR dimension of the company.\u00bb\u00a0<\/span><\/i>After joining the sales department and being appointed\u00a0<\/span>\u00ab C<\/span><\/i>As \u00bbMulti-site Groups and Seminars Coordinator\u00ab for Cosy Hotels, the young woman threw herself wholeheartedly into this mission, working at the group's four cardinal points (the Masq H\u00f4tel ****, the Saint-Nicolas ****, the Maison Saint-Nicolas and the H\u00f4tel B&B La Rochelle Centre) to manage and develop the business of welcoming these groups and seminars. With three offers, three DNAs and three different teams to deal with, it was a challenge that matched her hard work and flexibility, and one that she rose to brilliantly on a daily basis. \"\u00a0<\/span>No two days were ever the same. With sometimes up to 60 groups to receive per month, I had to be versatile, adaptable and reactive, but that was just as well - this frantic race to complete all these tasks galvanised me\u00bb.\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For over two years now, Margaux has been in charge of events, marketing and communications for the Group's three hotels. It's a cross-functional role that demands energy, a sense of organisation, anticipation and attention to detail - qualities she undeniably possesses. From greeting a technical team for a specific event to carrying out an inventory of stocks and then preparing a communication campaign on social networks, the bright-eyed thirty-something loves playing this \u00abSwiss army knife\u00bb role.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Working for an organisation driven by the desire to do better and better, to maintain the highest standards of quality and to be as virtuous as possible also suits this active volunteer perfectly.\u00a0<\/span>Surfrider<\/span><\/a>, an association for the protection of the ocean.\u00a0<\/span>\u00abAll the actions taken by hotels to protect the environment are real\u00bb.\u00bb<\/span><\/i>, she confirms, before reminding us that the Cosy Hotels have just obtained their second label\u00a0<\/span>Green Key<\/span><\/a>, this time for the Saint-Nicolas **** after the Masq H\u00f4tel **** received it last year. The Clef Verte label is the international benchmark for sustainable tourism.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Margaux is delighted to have been given the confidence to carry out her tasks, and particularly appreciates working in a family atmosphere.
